Splitting a transaction.

Sometimes you may have a single transaction with both business and personal amounts, or maybe a single transaction that you want to break down into multiple expense categories.

When this happens, you can simply split the transaction when you add it to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

To split a transaction:.
  1. Tap the transaction you wish to split.
  2. Tap the Split option at the top of the transaction.
  3. Use separate line items to designate the split amounts and categories.
  4. To add additional lines, tap on the grey plus sign above Attach receipt.
  5. Tap Save in the upper right corner to save your changes.

Note: When you contact support, the app will ask you if you want to attach an app log to the support email. This can help us identify any issues you're experiencing.
