Reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

QuickBooks Self-Employed creates several reports to help you better understand how your business is performing and better prepare you for tax time.

We will make available several reports for you to share, including:

  • **An annual tax summary in PDF format. It lists your taxable business profit and total amounts for each expense category
  • **An annual tax details report in XLS format. It will lists every transaction, grouped by expense category for the year
  • An mileage report in CSV format, detailing all trips tracked in your app, including date, type, purpose, vehicle, distance traveled, calculated deduction and method logged

    PDF (Adobe Reader) and XLS (Excel or other spreadsheet) are standard file formats that almost everyone has access to. You can email the files to your accountant or share them with a file-sharing app like Dropbox. Check with your accountant to see what works best.
